Heinrich Breling
Short biography and paintings of the artist Heinrich BrelingHe was borne in Burgdorf on October 14, 1849
and spent his childhood in Fischerhude.
Between 1863 and 1869, he studied art at the college in Hanover. After war 1870/71, he studied with W. Diez in Munich, where he became professor of art in 1883.
In 1884, he was appointed to an artist at court of King Ludwig II. of Bavaria.
After king's death, Heinrich Breling returned to Hanover in 1895.
Heinrich Breling died in Fischerhude on June 9, 1914.
He was an important representative of German historical and genre painting of the 19th Century.
