Louise Modersohn-Breling
She was borne in Munich in 1883 and passed away in 1950 in Hindelang.
After
education she was an opera and oratorio singer in Hagen,
Hannover and Berlin. In 1909, she got married to the artist Otto
Modersohn in Fischerhude. Beginning 1916, she turned herself to
painting, followed by common study trips with her husband to
Wertheim, Wuerzburg and to the Allgaeu area.
She developed an
own painting style in the expressiv realism.
