At first he studied architecture in Karlsruhe and Berlin; from 1912 he faced to painting, and was pupil of Lovis Corinth, Roger Bissiere and Andre Lhote. In 1930 he came to Fischerhude.<BR>His artistic work was honored in 1949 by Bremen Kunsthalle.</SPAN></P> </BODY>
